in Internal Revenue Code Section 179D this deduction allows for a federal tax
deduction of up to $1.80 per square foot for any newly constructed or
retrofitted commercial building, which meets energy efficiency targets. For
qualifying government owned buildings the deduction can be claimed by the lead
